Dashain


The longest festival of Nepal, dashain, it celebrates the victory of good over evil.It is the most liked and awaited festival in Nepal.

Being Buddhist we dont have the culture of celebrating dashain. But this time as the celebration of dashain i went my village after 12 long years.I was so excited to meet my mom after so long and to meet all the relatives in village.Me and my brother started our journey to the village in 26th of ashwin. We went by jeep we started our 11 hour long drive by 5:30am and arrived to phaplu by 4 o'clock. We stayed in phaplu that night and again started our 12 hours long walk from phaplu to kharikhola we stayed there that night and again next morning we started our 12 hours work towards our beautiful village.We arrived by 7:30pm i guess in our village.We went our home had tight hug with our mother and we had our dinner and we were so tired that day we went for our bed.Another sunny morning in the village was so good we had our meal and met some of our relatives and we spent 2 weeks in our village.

Me and my brother planned to go Nmache Bazaar. Which was so beautiful and mesmerizing. We went to our aunts lodge and stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days.the place was so beautiful and it was so rich in their tourism activities.

I enjoyed my dashain vacation in this way..

Teej

                                            Teej Teej is a festival celebrated by Nepali women, for the long life of her husband and long and firm relationship between them until the death this life and all the lives to come. Teej is observed for marital happiness, well-being of spouse and children and purification of own body and soul.
